🧭 Quick Decision: What Should You Breed First?

⚒️

Penking + Bushi
Mining 4, Handiwork 4

🔥

Need Smelting Speed?

Catch Jormuntide Ignis
Wildlife Sanctuary 2
Kindling 5/10

⚔️

🪽

📋 How to Breed Pals (Quick Start)

1️⃣

Reach Level 19

Unlock Breeding Farm in Technology Tree (costs 2 Tech Points).

2️⃣

Build Breeding Farm

100 Wood + 20 Stone + 50 Fiber. Place at your base.

3️⃣

Assign Pals

One male + one female. Pick them up and drop into the farm.

4️⃣

Provide Cake

Bake in Cooking Pot, place in the wooden box on the farm.

5️⃣

Collect Egg

Egg appears in center of pen. Take to Egg Incubator (Level 7).

6️⃣

Hatch!

Wait for timer. New Pal inherits passives from both parents.

🧬 Breeding Combinations

Search the table below for specific results. Select two parents to see their offspring. Legendary, Raid Boss, and Event Pals can only breed with their own species.

🧪 Mutations (New in 1.0)

Breeding now has a chance to produce mutated offspring with unique traits not found in either parent. Mutations can affect stats, passives, or even visual appearance.

Mutation TypeEffectChance
Stat Boost+10-20% to a random stat (ATK, DEF, HP, Work Speed)~5%
Rare PassiveInherits a rare passive skill not present in either parent~3%
Shiny VariantLucky Pal appearance with +15% all stats~1%
Element ShiftGains a secondary element type~2%

⬆️ Condensation Rework (1.0)

Old rule (EA): Each star gave +1 to every work suitability.
New rule (1.0): Condensation now distributes work level increases toward a Pal's best jobs. Specialists get pushed to Work Suitability 10, while generalists spread bonuses across multiple jobs.

🔗 Chain Breeding Basics

To get a Pal with perfect passives, breed through multiple generations:

  1. Catch wild Pals with desirable passives (Musclehead, Ferocious, Swift, etc.)
  2. Breed them to combine passives onto one offspring
  3. Repeat with different passive combinations until you have all 4 desired passives
  4. Breed that perfect Pal with a partner to mass-produce copies

❓ Breeding FAQ

No. All breeding formulas were changed in 1.0. Any guide using pre-July 2026 data is incorrect.
Yes, but Legendary, Raid Boss, and Event Pals can only breed with their own species. You cannot cross-breed Jetragon with another Pal to get a different Legendary.
For combat: Musclehead (+30% ATK, -50% Work Speed), Ferocious (+20% ATK), Burly Body (+20% DEF). For work: Artisan (+50% Work Speed), Work Slave (+30% Work Speed), Serious (+20% Work Speed). For mounts: Swift (+30% Move Speed), Runner (+20% Move Speed).
